Jack Browning Returns With ‘Muhlenberg County Stars’ – New Single Out June 27th

We’re proud to share the latest from one of our favourite UK artists, Jack Browning, as part of our community spotlight at The Rugged Revival.

Jack’s upcoming single “Muhlenberg County Stars” drops on Friday 27th June 2025, and it’s an absolute beauty. The track captures the bittersweet emotion of life on the road - filled with longing, love, and the quiet ache of missing home. Written during his first US tour, the song pays homage to the small-town magic of Owensboro, Kentucky, and more importantly, to the loved ones who keep our hearts grounded wherever we are in the world.

“It’s about the longing for loved ones back home to be able to join you and share in these moments on the road,” says Jack. “I wrote this about my fiancée, so she knows I’m thinking of her, wherever I might be laying my head or sipping on a drink in some hotel bar somewhere.”

Recorded at The Joplin House (UK) and produced by Dan Lucas, the single features Jack on vocals and guitar, with an all-star line-up including Cristiano Pochesci on pedal steel and Jake Groves on harmonica. It’s the first in a trio of singles that will lead into his sophomore album, which is set to release in September 2025.

Catch Jack performing the song live on tour in Kentucky this June, including his slot at the iconic Laurel Cove Music Festival, and again in Tennessee this October for North Springs Music Festival.
